You've probably wondered this yourself: "Marie-Nancy, do you draw inspiration from real investigative files to write your fiction?"

The answer is a categorical no! 🔍 Even though my brain is trained to analyze reality, my fiction comes straight from my imagination. It is entirely made up, with no connection to my professional daily life. It is my space for total freedom, where the puzzles depend solely on my pen.

Following the official launch of my site last weekend, I wanted to open up this virtual lounge. Why? Because I wanted a place to talk to you honestly. Here, I'm not just the rigorous expert; I'm also the author who stresses over her edits and juggles BouquinBec's deadlines for our big July 2nd release.

This blog will be my logbook. You'll find my reflections as an analyst here, but above all, the behind-the-scenes look at my literary adventure. I want you to already feel like you know me a little bit by the time we finally meet at a book fair or over a cup of coffee.
