See You in Oka!

The nerves are setting in!

Just a quick note to remind you... (since I've already mentioned it before) ... that I'll be at the Salon du livre d'Oka on September 5th!

This is my very first book fair, so let's just say the mix of nervousness and excitement is very real these days. After months spent alone in front of a screen, fine-tuning a scene or double-checking that a procedure holds up, this is where it all becomes real: actual faces, actual questions, sometimes even lively debates about what's plausible or not in a police investigation (we've talked about this before — it's a topic I find as fascinating as it is fun).

If you have questions about Morgane Hébert, about my background, about how I build my plots, or about that famous balance between realism and a little Hollywood style, this will be the perfect place to chat about it. And if you're simply curious to flip through Dans l'ombre de Dubaï before diving in, I'd be just as happy to talk to you about it.

This kind of exchange is what fuels me to keep writing. So if you're up for it, come say hi — we'll talk crime fiction, procedures, and everything else.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
