Self-Publishing: Not Exactly Smooth Sailing!

They often say that writing is a solitary journey. But let me tell you, self-publishing is more like an expedition into uncharted territory with a map that changes shape every single kilometer!
I am currently in the famous "final sprint" before the official launch of Shadows of Dubai. If everything went according to plan on paper, reality is a bit more... creative. Between HTML coding my ePub chapter by chapter, managing layout adjustments, and liaising with the professionals supporting me, my brain is literally running at full speed.
Why so much effort? Because I refuse to do things halfway. I chose to surround myself with professionals so that the final result—the physical book you will hold in your hands—is flawless. When you embark on such an adventure, you quickly realize you can't have one foot in two different boats. You have to know how to steer, adjust, and sometimes set the record straight to protect the quality of your work.
While I juggle tags and line breaks, my sweet girl—my faithful Deejay—keeps watch, settled comfortably by my side. She at least has figured out that the secret to a good sprint also involves knowing when to take a strategic nap!
I am working tirelessly to ensure this release meets your expectations. The first 100 copies, which will come with their exclusive bookmarks and dedications, are in good hands.
I'll be back very soon to confirm the launch details. The July 2nd date is still firmly in my sights, and I am doing everything I can to make sure the final result transports you just as much as I enjoyed writing this story.
Thank you for your patience and support through these little technical mazes. We're not giving up!
